What to expect
Art at the Archive is a new creative club for young people aged 8-14, that meets once a month during term-time at Lowestoft Archives. Each month explore a different aspect of local heritage, then get inspired to design, make or create something!
The main aims of the club are:
to empower young people to discover their local heritage for themselves
to develop young people's self-confidence
to develop creativity.
This summer term there will be 3 sessions, all themed around ‘seaside’. There will also be the opportunity to use the club sessions to work towards an Arts Award at ‘Discover’ level.
Children and young people do not need to be accompanied, but adults are welcome to stay to support a young person.
