Our 45-minute sessions will be held on 4 August at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM. Learn more about a range of animals, how they adapt and survive in their environments, and how humans impact their worlds.
There will be a range of animals, which could include a boa constrictor, red-footed tortoise, corn snake, western hognose, smooth-sided toad, Pac-Man frog, green basilisk, guinea pigs, tiger salamanders, hermit crabs, tarantulas, jumping spiders, whip scorpion, and tailless whip scorpion. Nine animals will be chosen depending on how happy they are on the morning.
This event is suitable for ages 3+. Younger visitors are welcome to attend but will be unable to handle the animals.
The sessions will take place in the Great Hall and are completely accessible. For useful information, such as how to find us and what facilities Christchurch Mansion has, we recommend reading our Access information: Access at Christchurch Mansion
