Learn how to make personalised journals to plan ideas and create a positive mindset for the new year. This workshop is part of The Blank Page Project.
Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include a free lunch, drinks and snacks!
Through simple step-by-step demonstrations, you will learn the key processes for book-making. Then you will be free to choose papers, lay-outs and designs that reflect your personality. You will take home a carefully crafted journal in which to record your ideas and intentions for 2025 and you can continue to fill it with new plans and schemes in the months to come.
The wellbeing of our young people is really important to us and time outdoors is a key part of that. With this in mind, where possible a short walk or time outdoors will be incorporated into the workshop days. This will be supervised by the staff running the workshops and will also be weather dependent. Please ensure your child has a coat and sensible footwear!
How to book

About Hazel Garrity
Hazel's chief enthusiasms have always been words, books and making things. As a secondary school English teacher, she has worked with young people to give them the confidence to be creative with language. Now she wants to explore the possibilities offered by combining words with the traditional craft of constructing books in different forms and expressing ideas in different ways.
