What to expect
These gentle, fun sessions will be particularly suited for people living with complex health challenges. Sessions will run on Thursday mornings 10:30 – 12:00 from Thursday 3rd October.
It’s completely free to attend, and guide dogs/companions warmly welcomed. All activities are completely optional, and it’s fine to join in as much or as little as you want to.
Research has shown that singing regularly with others has many health benefits including:
Improvement of cardiorespiratory functions and immune system
Reduction of stress hormone levels
Increased feelings of connection with others.
It can also help to support brain health as we age
How to book
You can be referred to our Tonic: Singing for Health group by your GP or social prescriber, or you can self refer by getting in touch with us directly.

How to get there
There is a free car park on-site, which you can enter using the large blue gates located on the right-hand side of Gatacre Road. Other car parks nearby which are pay and display include: South Street Car Park (10 min walk to theatre), Portman Road Car Park (16 min walk to theatre).
