Let’s Get Crafty Workshops – locations across Suffolk
Suffolk Archives’ friendly team will be at locations across Suffolk, including Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Sudbury, Lowestoft, and Ipswich, offering free crafty activities exploring themes from Departures: Exploring Emigration From Suffolk, their current exhibition. Activities are suitable for children aged 4 to 11 years and booking is recommended.

Jump In! Dance Performances – Beccles and Eye Libraries
What happens when we open a book? Where can imagination take us? This playful performance for young children is packed with exploration and joy. The show is made by children and grownups for audiences aged 3-6 and is enjoyed by everyone. Spaces are free but limited so please book in advance.

Mini Music Makers – The Red House, Aldeburgh

Love Mammals Discovery Day – Christchurch Mansion, Ipswich
Come along to this free event celebrating the wonders of mammal wildlife across Suffolk and beyond through stalls with displays across the Mansion. Marvelous Mammals Morning – Foxburrow Nature Reserve, Woodbridge
Learn how to identify footprints and become an animal detective. During the session, we will learn about an array of mammals that call Foxburrow their home by taking part in a variety of activities, games, and crafts. £6 for children, £4 for adults.

Relaxed Family Film Screenings – The Regent, Stowmarket
Watch Over the Hedge (16 Feb) or Shark Tale (23 Feb) in a more relaxed environment this half-term. These screenings are particularly designed for families with SEND children, with the lights kept brighter, the sound turned to a lower volume, and only five minutes of pre-show trailers.
