What to expect
Our community includes novelists, scriptwriters, poets, storytellers, children’s literature, comedy, and nonfiction. We welcome writing in any genre. We welcome writers from diverse backgrounds. We welcome all levels of experience and aspirations of every size – from haiku to blockbuster trilogy.
Wolsey Writers is led by Katie Ward, an award-winning novelist and lecturer in creative writing at University of Suffolk. Every session includes tips to improve your creative practice, focused writing time, peer support and inspiration.

How to get there
There are two carparks very close to the theatre - Spiral Car Park and Wolsey Car Park. The nearest bus stop is a three minute walk away. Ipswich rail station is a 15 minute walk from the theatre.
